When it comes to teachers, our standards are as high as yours. At FBCA, childcare and education services are provided by highly trained, dedicated professionals.
Fresh Beginnings Children’s Academy adheres to developmentally appropriate practices. This maximizes children’s opportunities to make choices (thus empowering children and fostering their self-esteem), emphasizes learning through play and encourages exploration in several areas. Our goal is to provide excellence in childcare and to provide activities to enhance the social, emotional, cognitive, creative and physical needs of children.
Children can locate and use materials of their particular interest from distinct areas, such as the block, art, housekeeping, manipulative, language, and music and science areas.
The adult’s role is to create and stimulate the natural curiosity of the children and to provide the variety of materials, people, and experiences required to meet the needs of children individually. Loving adults encourage them to listen, speak, touch, take apart, put together, mold, paint and compute through a range of activities which enables all children to feel successful.
Places for Exploration & Discovery
Every child is an explorer, so our classroom environments allow them to feel safe and free to explore and discover. In our home-like surroundings, children learn with engaging materials, while using their bodies, senses, and emerging problem-solving skills.
Cleanliness is vital, so we take significant precautions to prevent the spread of germs.
In the infant areas, all teachers and staff wear booties to limit outside germs.
All spaces that children come in contact with are regularly disinfected.
All the children’s toys are disinfected on a regular basis.
Healthy choices for growing kids:
Our menus include a variety of foods which meet daily nutritional needs and satisfy New York State licensing requirements. Currently we are only offering breakfast and snacks. We ask that parents pack lunches that are 100% Nut Free. Please speak with your school director if you have specific concerns.
